Get ready to boost your instructional practices with this intensive two-day Science of Reading (SOR) Bootcamp!
Designed for K-5 educators, this 12-hour, on-site professional learning experience will jumpstart your journey and empower you to bring the latest insights into your classroom practice.
This two-day quick start is not a replacement for LETRS. Rather it is intended as a jump-start for new teachers, Option 6 teachers, and teachers who may be starting LETRS training in the fall.
Through interactive learning, hands-on application, and collaborative discussions, participants will:
Unpack the key components of the Science of Reading and their impact on foundational literacy.
Explore effective, research-based strategies for phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Align instructional practices with High-Quality Instructional Resources (HQIR) to ensure rigorous, systematic, and explicit literacy instruction.
Engage in practical application, lesson modeling, and real-time feedback to strengthen implementation.
Develop actionable next steps to apply SOR principles immediately in the classroom.
This Bootcamp is designed to energize, equip, and empower educators with the knowledge and tools to elevate literacy instruction and accelerate student success.
Walk away with a renewed confidence in applying the Science of Reading to daily instruction and a clear path forward for implementing best practices that drive results.
