Join us for a dynamic three-day professional learning experience focused on the Science of Reading through the lens of multilingual learners in grades K–5.
Co-facilitated by literacy and multilingual education specialists, this event will explore how foundational reading skills can be taught effectively and equitably in classrooms with diverse language backgrounds. Participants will engage in research-based strategies for supporting language development and reading acquisition, with a special focus on adapting high-quality instructional resources (HQIRs) to meet the needs of students at varying levels of language proficiency.
Each attendee will receive a $100 Lit Kit of materials to support classroom implementation. We encourage classroom teachers and multilingual educators to attend together as collaborative teams to deepen shared understanding and strengthen instructional impact.
Learning Targets:

Evaluate and adapt high-quality instructional resources (HQIRs) to meet the diverse needs of multilingual learners across levels of English proficiency.
