This immersive 6-hour professional development session is designed to deepen educators’ understanding of dyslexia and provide actionable strategies that can be implemented in the classroom. Teachers will begin with an engaging "Experience Dyslexia" simulation that offers a first-hand perspective on the challenges students with dyslexia face. Following the simulation, we will explore evidence-based instructional strategies that not only support students with earmarks of dyslexia but also foster an inclusive environment where all students can thrive. These strategies are essential for some, yet beneficial for all, in promoting literacy and learning across diverse populations.
