Arrah Holdsworth

Professional Learning Specialist- Math & Literacy

Arrah Holdsworth is a Math Professional Learning Specialist at EPIC. She is a National Board Certified Teacher and serves as a Mentor for the Accelerate Accomplished Teaching Pilot program for KY Early Career Educators seeking National Board Certification. Arrah has been recognized for her excellence in teaching, being honored as Teacher of the Year in both Cibecue, AZ, and Ramstein, Germany.


Arrah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina. She is certified or endorsed in Gifted Education, Supervisor of Instruction, Elementary Program Consultant, and Administration. Arrah is also an active member of the KY NBCT network.


Her teaching career is extensive, having taught in Mississippi, on the White Mountain Apache reservation in Arizona, Ohio, Kentucky, South Korea, and Germany with the Department of Defense. She also spent three years as the Coordinator of Disability Services at the University of South Carolina.


Arrah is passionate about supporting teachers in efficiently generating, collecting, and utilizing data to inform and enhance instructional practices. Her varied experiences and commitment to education make her a valuable asset to the GRREC team.
