Professional Learning Specialist- Literacy
As a Professional Learning Specialist at EPIC/GRREC, Kate Wintuska leads professional learning programs and brings with her a strong educational background. With certificates in Teaching Reading, Literacy, and School Administration from Centre College and Western Kentucky University, Kate has taught various grade levels, including Kindergarten to 3rd grade, intervention, and 5th grade ELA. Kate's experience includes coaching as a part of the Striving Readers Grant, working as a District Literacy Consultant, and partnering with the GRREC region as an MTSS consultant.
Kate's passion for literacy as a civil right and her commitment to leveraging high-quality instructional practices have resulted in significant professional accomplishments in the field of education. She has contributed to publications related to literacy education and is affiliated with various educational organizations.
Kate's work brings her joy as she collaborates with educators to support their professional growth and improve outcomes for students. She is dedicated to promoting equity and access to high-quality education for all learners.
